Sonoma Syndicate is a one-person, small-batch workshop making ultra-durable fishing hardware for real-world anglers—especially kayak and small-boat folks.

Everything is handmade in the USA from food-grade 304 stainless steel, built to be corrosion-resistant, simple, and tough, with designs shaped by actual time on the water.

The vibe is “no mass production”: each piece is made by hand, slightly unique, and meant to last season after season with practical, deck-friendly craftsmanship.

Yelloweye is my Patent Pending fish descender, built around a safer, no-poke, safety-pin-style layout that stows cleanly and helps prevent accidental pokes on deck or in a crate.

It’s designed for one-handed operation—because real fishing means you’re often managing rod, line, net, current, and boat positioning all at once—so you can deploy, use, and stow it fast and confidently.

You can find Yelloweye (and the rest of my handmade, ocean-tested stainless gear) for sale in my Etsy store—just search “Sonoma Syndicate” on Etsy to see what’s currently in stock.
